Beneficiary Member’s Name and Member Number
Members wiring money into Maui Federal Credit Union from a foreign bank may be asked to provide our SWIFT bank code or an IBAN for all other countries, because foreign banks are accustomed to using them. We do not have one and it is not necessary in order to wire money to us.
Sending Domestic Wires – How to Request a Wire Transfer
To wire money from your Maui Federal Credit Union accounts to anywhere in the United States, you must visit the main branch in Kahului and complete the Wire Transfer Request form and the Wire Transfer Member Questionnaire.
At this time, we do not process international outgoing transfers via the Credit Union. However, Western Union wire transfer services are available if you would like to send money internationally.
In order to process your request, you will be asked to provide us with the following information:
- Name of the Beneficiary
- Address of the Beneficiary
- Account Number of the Beneficiary
- Receiving Financial Institution's Name
- Receiving Financial Institution's Address
- Receiving Financial Institution's Phone Number
- Receiving Financial Institution’s ABA Routing Number
- Any special instructions
- Wire Amount
- Wire Transfer Fees
